The Spanish Tracemark received an international award: “Breakthrough Business of the year”
Company wins recognition for its work securing the supply chain in the jewelry industry
After only one year since its launch, the young Spanish entrepreneur Berta Serret, founder of Tracemark, has managed to position the brand as a world leader in jewelry traceability and just a few days ago won the international award for ‘Innovative Business of the Year 2022’, awarded by Positive Luxury.
As Serret explains, “It’s exciting to see, because it’s about time, that traceability technology went beyond fashion and fully entered the jewelry and diamond industry. Tracemark is a totally necessary tool.”
Positive Luxury is an entity known as a ‘sustainable luxury accelerator’ dedicated to driving companies’ work to adapt to climate change and new market needs through innovative tools and ideas.
Securing the entire supply chain
Tracemark is currently the only company in the world able to provide full and certified traceability of a piece of jewelry, from the origin of raw materials to the final consumer, ensuring respect for human rights throughout the entire supply chain.
“Tracemark was born to lead the change by fostering collaboration between companies to achieve that, in unison, the only prosperity is sustainability, because, the industry will be sustainable or it will not be” Berta reminds us.
“Tracemark is the only company in the world capable of tracing a diamond of any size to its origin and certifies exclusively RJC CoC recycled gold and Fairmined gold, i.e. gold with positive impact” she adds.
A dress with social commitment
The haute couture firm Ze Garcia collaborates with the founder of Tracemark, Berta Serret, driven by its commitment to traceability and the importance of ethical and sustainable trade. Both located in the city of Barcelona, they have joined forces to give life to the first made-to-measure dress with traceability in the market.
